Winchester Double X HV or Mag

Was doing some searching on the difference between Winchester's Double X High Velocity #5 vs Winchester Double X Magnum 20 ga turkey loads and didn't notice much besides the High Velocity is 1200 velocity and 1 5/16 as for the Magnum turkey loads is 1185 velocity and 1 1/4, don't seem like a huge difference but what do i know.

Have you guys tried both loads and compared them or does anyone know if there are much differences between the two?

I shot the Double X #5 through my Rem 870 and a Rem Super Full tube and I can tell you that it didnt like it.  I also tried some other #5 shells of various brands and my gun just doesn't like #5 shot.  It shoots #6 great but not many shell manufacturers make a turkey load in #6 thats not High Density shot.
