Here's my new 20 gauge 870 TSS slinger

I picked this one up at an auction for $125. Older 870, someone painted camo, (I re-painted), and they also shortened bbl to 20.5" and threaded with Truchoke.

Hoping I get another turkey with this set up again this year. Aiming point will be the body and head connection point. Feathers meet skin.

Here is a Remington 870 Express 12 gauge that I bought at K-mart 22 years ago.    I bought the Remington Sureshot stocks to replace the wood.  I added a b-square saddle mount w/ Truglo Gobbledot.  I sent the barrel to Mike Orlen in Western MA and had the barrel cut to 23",  had it ported, had the forcing cones lengthened, and had the barrel polished.  I then did my own custom camo paint job on the barrel and reciever (couldn't afford to have it dipped).  It was a fun project , that turned an old dust collector into a gun I love to use.  It is an ugly beast, but the gun puts out scary good patterns with an SSX choke.

Winchester 1300 22" barrel with BSA red dot and TG SSX choke just picked it up for $220 used minus the ssx choke. On the right, my first shotgun ever 870 express magnum 26" barrel undertaker choke.
