no 5 remington nitro loads! undertaker/carlsons choke!

got an undertaker .665 choke for the mossberg 500, also used the carlsons dead coyote choke in .660. target was 40 yards!

remington no 5 shot nitro loads 3 inwere used.

first up was carlsons choke and nitro no 5's at 40 yards

I count 58 in the first pattern and 46 in the second. FWIW I would shoot again, but at 30yds; to determine if the pattern can be more centered. Although the Remington® Nitro-Turkey® is an inexpensive load it patterns well for a lot of us. Again, pattern at 30yds and work back in 2yd increments until you determine the unacceptable point due to pattern disintegration.

 heres a turkey vital head shot on an 11 by 11 in paper at 35 yards using remington no 5 nitros and an undertaker choke!~  103 hits total

Patterns at 30 and 35 Yards might help you see what's happening to your pattern, and show you your POI vs. your POA.

Once you get your POI figured out, it looks like it's a decent enough 40 yard pattern. Definately no problems with the 35 yard pattern.
Lead shooter for life! Know your gun, know your shell, pattern multiple times, know your effective distance, and practice the calls...and the Pb #4's will put 'em down everytime!
