Annual VA Turkey Call Makers Competition

Attention Turkey Call Makers! The Virginia State Chapter NWTF will be holding the 2nd Annual Turkey Call Makers Competition at their upcoming annual Awards Banquet. The banquet will take place on Saturday, January 16th at the Holiday Inn Valley View in Roanoke.

Hey folks,

I hope everyone is doing well and ready for Christmas. I wanted to let you know that the VA State Chapter of the NWTF is holding their annual call makers competition in Roanoke, VA on January 20, 2017. If you or anyone you know, would like to enter a call, PM me and I will give you the details.

Calls will be judged for craftsmanship & sound
in the following categories:
• Box Call- Short, One Sided & Long
• Pot Call- Slate, Glass/Crystal & Other Surface
• Scratch Box Call
• Wing Bone & Trumpet
• Tube Call
• Push Pin Call
• Locator Call

After the competition, these calls will be auctioned off in a silent auction to be held in conjunction with the VA State Chapter Banquet and Awards Dinner on Saturday January 21st, with the proceeds going to support habitat and outreach projects all across the state.
