Any call maker loves it when he or she can see a turn around in their craft, I am not talking about time spent making a call I am talking about time the call spent out in the public and being successful for which it was designed. And the icing on the cake is when you as a call maker can once more hold in your hands that call as a testament to its quality and your commitment to the craft after it had served its purpose to the user...this I got to do with a duck call I made in August of 2010 the first wooden Short Fuse duck call in my updated line of the original Detonator Series of calls. The buyer had used her successfully all these years and in order to update his calls, he sold it on the bay....I got it back....and ( bottom pic) here is how she looks today ( top pic ) verses 5 - 3/4 years earlier! And she still sounds great today!
