I just order a Bushnell bore sight that works on shotguns both 12 and 20 ga..i have a new 20 ga. setup with scope etc. Have any of you ever used a bore sight on a shotgun with scope if so did it help with getting you on paper better?

Nope, shot a target load at 12 yards at a big piece of paper. When I hit bullseye move to 25 and check, if still good move to 40. If not, adjust until then move to 40.

I use a bore sight often...

It works great to dial in the horizontal....

Of course, you will need range time to dial in the vertical...

Where it really helps me is that I can record zero on a target sheet, and re-check zero when I travel...

Nice to know that I can get it dialed in if a scope gets damaged, battery dies on a red-dot, or fixed sights get damaged...all of these have occurred to me over the years...
