Some mighty fine looking pot calls. Is the laminated a slate? If so, how does it sound? I have been watching his laminated slate calls on ebay but not pulled the trigger yet.

Yes, it's a slate. Sounds good, it's a little different which I like,but you would need to try other strikers. I have his slate over glass coming today or tomorrow. Can't wait for that one.

Why is the crystal last? You happy with it?

Just has a different sound. Very loud and hollow. Just not what I'm used too. I'm trying different strikers with it. Just personal preference I guess.

I will. I have a pile of strikers, so I should find one that works. Snake wood, cocobolo... Something. Might even throw a marrer monkey wood on it
