I was in Florida this past weekend and just got back home. Anyway my Wife sent me a text Saturday and said the mail lady just dropped off a package for me from some guy named Mark Sharpe from Georgia. I knew not to tell her what might be inside, she hates turkey sounds. I had been wanting to try one of Mark's River Cane calls and he hooked me up. I just got back home, and opening that package was first priority. I've handled and played 8 or 10 of Marks calls and they have all been calls I wouldn't hesitate to hunt with. And this Cane call is no exception. Beautiful call and it sounds just the way I want a call to sound, like a turkey. First time I played it, it start spitting out turkey feathers. Its as easy to use as any of his other calls I've had the pleasure to play. This call is going to be a killer no doubt. I've used one of Marks wingbones along with a MKW trumpet for the last three years or so and I've already lost count of the turkeys that have been fooled by this combo.
I don't recommend very many calls but if your thinking about a wingbone or a river cane call I highly recommend Mark's calls. Fine calls, and an even finer fellow.
