A warrior hl. anyone have any info on them?

No info on that model, but in general crossbows are loud, unwieldy, and difficult to carry comfortably. On the plus side they can be shot shouldered like a gun, and you don't have to draw with the game near.

With recent changes to WI use laws with crossbows we have been selling a lot of them, while I was working in Ohio for a bit it was legal there. Ten Point has been the name in the games since I have been selling them and that's been for over 15 years. Ten Point now owns and produces the Horton line and Wicked Ridge too.

I know this a old thread but its relevant to me. I had bad shoulder injury and took me out of bow hunting completely. I just recently got a used cross bow from a friend, I finally took it hunting yesterday and shot a hen at 30 yards.

I don't know much about them but after some research, I just bought an Excalibur crossbow.  I may try it on turkeys this spring but I bought it mostly for deer.
I know it's kind of cheating compared to a bow but I wanted to give one a try.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

I have a wicked ridge.   Works great for deer and if you know a turkey is coming.  The safety is noisy to switch off without two hands.  It has cost me birds when they come in silent.  If I ever get a new crossbow, it will have a quit safety I can operate with my thumb

There is an interview of Pete Shepley on you tube that every bowhunter should watch.  Pete is the President at PSE.  He is my hero, very well spoken and is 100% correct on this topic.

I really like my Excalibur 350LE. Simple and fast.

I hope that I never get to where I need one but the problems I am having with my shoulders the last few years are making me worry I will have to consider one. I do know if I ever do get one it will be a I guess you would say recurve model, that way I don't have to worry about all those cables and pulleys failing.
