thank you all for your kind words, I have sent some out and so far the reports are great! I am making these with Cherry....Black Locust....Hickory and Bloodwood shafts....the bells are gonna be Cedar...Cherry and Maple.

Got a cherry and a cedar from Jack. Both are great strikers and the crow call is all crow especially if you cup your hands around the call for more control. Great job!! Thanks for letting me give them a try. I think you're going to get real busy putting these in hunters' vest this spring! Well done and sweet new idea!
