I got this short box today from Mr. Albert Paul. She is ebonized Walnut over Mahogany. The Walnut was sent to Albert by Steve Brown. Steve has a process that turns the Walnut into a black color resembling Ebony. This call not only looks great but has that typical Paul call sound that I love. Albert suggested that the lid not be checkered and I am glad he did. Albert is one of the best in my opinion.

Great looking call and I know she sounds good coming from a great callmaker and a true gentleman. Steve is doing amazing stuff with that wood. Congrats Rickey!
