Do you have for one gun? Out of my Winchester 1300 hevi shot 3" #6 shoot good with a Indian creek choke, the long beards shoot good with a comp n choke and I've been thinking of trying the mag blends with an ssx choke.

I don't play with multiple chokes once I find one I like.  But I do test multiply shells so I can have a back in case I can't find my main load.

My hand loads are good with any of the chokes I own.  Just all depends on how many I want in the 10".

I have three for my 835.  I use the $15 one... :P

535 rhino 660
Winchester 3.5" HV 4's and 3.5" longbeard 5's have the same POI. One puts almost 200 in the 10, the other puts 115.

Beretta al 391 jebs 660
3" longbeard 6's put 160 in the 10
3rd degree pits 125

With the carlsons longbeard choke in this gun I broke 200 with longbeard 6's.

I use the jebs and 3rd degree to hunt with if I'm packing this gun.

Baikal mp18, sum toy 660 and thug 5's. 100ish.

Remington 870 sp - haven't patterned it since I took the sum toy choke out and put it in my baikal single shot. I have a Remington "hevi shot" model 675 in it. I'm gonna try some longbeard and heavyweight 7s one of these years.  Not really worried about it as this thing is so heavy with the shurshot stock and tears my cheek up so bad too that I doubt I'll ever pack it hunting again. that was my go to gun for over 15 years though.

I pack my 535 or beretta almost exclusively.
I load up the Beretta with 3rd degrees and back it up with longbeards

I usually load up with the HV 4's with the 535. If my wife packs this gun she loads up with the longbeards.

The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

Man that gun sounds like a sure enough shooter. You better never let that one go. I'd feed it the HV 5's all day every day. I've killed a couple truck loads of gobblers with the old blacks. The winchester elite were the baddest shells I've ever hunted  though. I wish they still made them.

Yeah I like the 6's beautiful even pattern. The 3 1/2" MB are good also they have a good pattern at short & longer than necessary distances.
