Loungers are on sale at Cabelas for $20.

nice,  is that chair really any different than the Walmart one also for $20 ? http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mossy-Oak-Turkey-Thug-Gobbler-Chair/22281732

besides the camo..look the same to me

I have a couple of the Walmart ones but not the Cabelas so can't say for sure. The one thing I can see in the photo is the Cabelas seems to have a single piece of material for the seat. The Walmart version has a seat with a separate center panel with stitching all around, and on one of mine that stitching is loosening up.

also appears the walmart one doesn't come with a carry bag...

Thanks for the heads-up. I just ordered two, one for my son and a backup for me. The Gobbler Lounger has been a real game changer for my turkey hunting. I can sit for a few hours in mine if needed.

I just ordered 1, figured it couldn't hurt to have one

I have both kinds.  The Gobbler Lounger is a bit lighter and quieter.
The material on the Wal Mart one tends to squeak or rub when you move a little.
The GL is rated for 225 and the WM one is rated for 250 lbs.
I weigh about 230 and the GL has lasted several years.  I bought the WM one for my grandsons (and as a spare).
They feel about the same as far as comfort...very good!

It's lighter?  So much for the Walmart chair, then.  ;)

Thank you for that info.  I would have guessed about a half pound difference.  Not really that much when carrying it in a Hunting USA bag but you can feel it when hefting them side by side.

I didnt think it was that much either but i put them on the same scale.

I bought a couple of the Gobbler Lounger back in april when they had them on sale for the same price. One of them broke the second day I used it. Took it back & the replaced it without a problem.
A couple of weeks ago I was in Walmart and picked up a couple of the Turkey Thug chairs for $15 ea.
I haven't used the TT chair yet, but from what I can see, about the only real difference is the GL has a carry bag and TT has strap & no bag.
