I would love to win one of these, just for the bragging rights alone. However, there are some Turkey killing teams on here that put down a lot of birds. We will need to put down some big Toms to make that move, because we normally don't put down a lot of birds per member. Good thing is we have a lot of Northern boys shooting heavy weights, which helps. I love this contest. It forces me to hunt every minute no matter the weather or how I feel. I had gotten lazy before this contest, and not putting as much into hunting as I use to. I've had more fun Turkey Hunting the last couple of years because of being more aggressive. Personally, this contest was something I needed to get the juices flowing again. Good luck everyone, and enjoy the hunts. Time flys in life, and you want to get the most out of it.

We've only got a couple of Southern boys, so we sure won't make much of a splash early. The Southern teams will be done before we have hardly started ;D

RaspyD

Just remember guys...it's not how you start but how you finish.  This year the RDR are gonna finish on top!!

Was I included in the "Southern boys" count even though I don't hunt until at least late April?

No. Southern Boys hunt in March, and wouldn't be caught dead in Minnesota. ;D

cuttinAR

AR doesn't start until April 16th which is after many states to our north.  Our turkey population is way down and they are trying to allow the hens to be bred before the hunters hit the woods.  Tough three week season in these parts.  Thank goodness for KS.

Jay,
Is it too late to get on the team?
We were like filled immediately about a month ago.
