I had no luck this morning, so I went and played in a softball tourney that was 1hr away from my house, we were knocked out after the first 2 games so I drove back home and pulled in the driveway at 4:20 changed clothes and rode my cart into the woods to the spot where I was getting the pics. As soon as I started into the woods he was standing about 10 yards from my camera, which is only 45 yards from the edge of the woods. I saw that head poke up as I came around a big Cypress tree, I threw my gun up and BOOM the rest is history.... heck i even got a ol blunt tail cotton mouth on my way out ofthe woods!

Congrats on the bird and dang what a FAT cottonmouth. The guy who lives on our place when the weather was warmer 3 days ago, had a copperhead lying under his truck door.



Tell me you didn't shoot the snake with a shotgun. Looks like his head was cut.

Naw I grabed a stick and beat his head while I held him down with my shotgun

And in my part of La we came them Stump tail water moccasin, very poisonous and now he is a good snake.
