Finally saw some turkeys!!!

Went to scout adjacent land to the farm I hunted last year.  Saw about 10 turkeys, one I would swear was a long beard.  Was able to get a gobble, but then couldn't see him again.  It was weird.  Maybe got a jake to gobble?  Saw the hens, so the big boys will be there.  Got to know the lay of the land.  Can't hunt that nice farm as they rent it and don't want me hunting when someone is there.  So, it is open the end of the first week and I can get up there to scout a little on Friday of that week and then to hunt Saturday morning.  I have more land than time to scout.

I agree. Sounds like more investigating is needed!
