It is absolutely the fondest box call I have ever ran hands down he makes a pure heart black poplar that's great too but if I could only take one call to the woods it would be that box it does everything in his YouTube videos it's the one he always runs and demonstrate with its the shizz

I played several of his before I bought one in February this year . One thing I noticed and David also pointed out. The more Sap wood in the cedar the more rasp the call has. I ended up with one with a lot of Sap and it's nasty raspy. Definitely sounds like an old boss hen.

I actually plan on buying a Masscar Ebony over Poplar in the future.

I have a purple heart over poplar I may let go
