My best is Stumpys and Jay Ritchie. I love that stumpy. Got a Gary anderson on the way

Jay Ritchies ceramic sounds very similar to a halloran with a little more rasp on the back

Another vote for Gary Anderson.  Got mine last summer.  Used it a good bit so far this spring and killed quite a few birds with it.  It is easy to play, sounds good, and low maintenance.
