Mine shot smoking straight out of the box.  I'm sure I'll polish the barrel, but man if it gets any tighter I may have to go to a more open choke.

I think you guys will be happy.  Sweet pointing little gun. FLBoss recommended it and they just happened to have one at the BPS in Tally.  As soon as the guy handed it to me, I said "Oh crap".  The guy and my daughter stared at me and asked what was wrong. I said, "I just spent 600 bucks".  He laughed and said he had the non camo version and loved it.

I had all intent of changing the ghost ring sights. I shot probably 25 rounds of both turkey and birdshot through it and got to where I liked it.  When I shot my bird this year, I did not even think much, as it happened pretty fast and I just brought the sight plane up and shot.  Dropped him where he stood at 38 yards.

I shot it with some Magblends at 40 yards and it had a very huntable pattern with the factory choke.  I switched up because I wanted to use Federal Heavyweights - they did not shoot well out of the factory ported choke though.

I purchased the 2014 edition last year... but soon after they came out with the new 2015 all camo edition. I held out for a few months, but finally couldn't take it anymore and purchased the new model last week  :blob10:

FYI - the FED HW #7 loves the Carlson .575 choke. non ported.

Nice!

I decided to move away from the red dot sights. I ended up with a Tru Glo universal turkey - pretty sturdy metal sight. I added some color to the rear ghost ring. I like the way it turned out.
