I saw Remington Premier turkey loads and Remington Nitro turkey loads. Anyone know the difference? Same 3.5" and #5 shot size and ounces? If the only difference is one of them is copper plated then will it really matter on a turkey kill?

Copper with the Premiers. Really not much difference, I do find that the Nitro's don't pattern quite as good as Premiers but shoot plenty good to kill turkeys.
A lot of guys on here don't have any luck with the Remington loads but in any of my guns they hold their own to anything but Longbeards.
Best shooting #4's in my 10 gauge are Remington Premier.

I have found them to not pattern good from any of my guns.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Don't do well for me either

For me (a lot because I'm newer to the sport) it started off as, "Oh, that will do the job" to trying newer and better loads and saying, "Man, those weren't that great..."  They are not incapable, just many things pattern better for many people.

I've tried both in a few of my shotguns, and retried them just to make sure, they may work better with different chokes, but I'm not wasting my time nor money!
