Haha! Yeah. I have to be honest, I didn't use half of the stuff that I bought in preparation for this season. I imagine it is like that for a lot of newbies. I feel like I could have killed that bird carrying only my shotgun and a mouth call. I am not sure if the decoy played a role, but I guess it didn't hurt. I think I will definitely be investing in a vest for next season, as sitting against a tree for hours at a time proved to be very uncomfortable.

Way to go. Definitely need a short stool for sitting on the ground. I think H.S. builds one as well as several other companies. Between a turkey seat and pad on a vest you will be comfortable.
