Angus and I went down to turkey camp over the weekend. It was our first trip down since December. Everything was in remarkably good order considering the winter we had. I had not expected to hear much from the turkeys. However, they surprised me. I ran out with my gear and took a seat outside the old barn we call Faulty Towers and started the tape rolling.
Soon the fog started to come in, and it chilled the turkeys. You can hear how they clam up when the fog hits them. Temperatures were in the high 30's, but when a fog bank would roll in, I'd get chilled to the bone-- must have hit them about the same way. There is a lot of other good stuff on here besides turkeys-- coyotes, geese, crows, a hawk.
