Let me know when you get your stock and whether or not the stock set comes with a new stock bolt.I just got the new stock in and got it installed. Everything went together really easy and the stock bolt/washers WAS included. I'm not sure if I'm going to like it though. First impressions of it seems to feel funny when shouldering and sighting. I'm not using any optics and getting down on the bead just feels different, kinda like I have to position my head and cheek on the stock in a way that I'm not used to.I'll probably shoot it some this week to get a better feel for it and see if I can get used to it.

Yea those stocks on have a high comb to them basically made for a scope or red dot.You might want to try williams firesights they sit higher off the rib of your gun.Let me know if you decide to part with the stock.

Id drill and tap it and put a red dot on it.Thats how i have my 870 20 set up.The many advantages of a red dot or low power scope outweigh the few disadvantages they have ,IMO.
