I have a picatinny rail on my sbe2. I leave it on when I use the gun for waterfowl hunting. It sits low enough and with the stepped rib does not get in the way of my view. I have the weaver pic rail though, which is not as thick as other brands so it sits low on the receiver. Weaver#-48339

I also use the speed bead.....but before that I sued a weaver mount and never had a problem taking out and re inserting the little plastic plugs.....just use something to push them out from the in side and pop then back in when ever you take the mount off

I would tend to agree except a FFIII is not a scope.
