Good choice.  His slate and aluminum pots are among my favorites. See if you can find his aluminum in mahogany, it really sounds great.

Yeah, his mahogany/aluminum is a among my favorites as well. I spoke with him yesterday and he said this is probably his last year making aluminum calls since its getting so hard to find quality aluminum at a fair price.
