My turkey killer set up
March 03, 2015, 10:50:56 PM
Every year before this I've used a remmington 870 and I love the 870. But this year I got me a mossberg 835 with a 24" barrel and added a burris ff3, ATI talonII stock, a HS v-pod, and topped it off with the IC .675. I'm shooting hevi 7s and getting some great patterns. Does anyone else have a setup like mine with a 835/870. Just trying to spark a conversation.

I have an 835 that I want to put a similar stock on. Just curious how much does something like that cost? I am going to try and find some of those hevi 7's . Been shooting the mag blends but am curious of how the 7's would pattern.

I have a 935 with a pistol grip, Leupold 2-7x33 scope and an IC .675. It is one bad turkey gun...kicks a little less than yours...a little
I had to have some magnification because my eyes are getting bad and I dont want to wear glasses.
That IC choke is awesome...haven't shot Hevi 7s yet but I am sure the pattern is incredible. Shooting mag blends now.
Good luck this season!
