I want to give a shout out to Lyle at houndstooth. I had asked on here about different strikers to run on his ceramic. I explained it would not roll over on the yelps and was overly high pitched no matter what striker I used or hand position I used. I recieved a pm from Lyle shortly afterward. After talking a bit he asked me to send it back so he could check it out. I talked to him a bit on the phone. Fast forward to today and I got in touch with him. He said that the call was definitely off and should not have been shipped. He said he keeps the culls to pop the ceramics out to reuse. The call arrived in the mail and it was a night and day difference between the 2. It is going in my vest and sounds awsome with a handful of different strikers. Just posting this to give Lyle props for his calls and his going up and beyond to take care of a customer long after the sale. I even ordered a few of his mouth calls to try out. Give Lyle a call. He stands by his calls and will treat you right.
