I am assuming there is somebody here who put a pistol grip on their turkey gun. Do you feel as though it makes any difference?

In the number of birds I kill, no difference.
In the number of misses, no difference.
In my comfort level while the gun is shouldered, big difference.
In shooting in awarkward positions, big difference.

870supermagnum

I shoot a Remington 870 SPS T Supermagnum and the recoil with the original straight stock was very strong. So, I put a Knoxx Blackhawk Spec Ops Recoil Reducing Camo stock, with a Limbsafer recoil pad on the gun and what a difference that made. I also put a Magpul single point sling on it for fast reflex point and shoot situations (I walked upon and missed two nice gobblers because my gun was slung overy my shoulder). The aforementioned add-ons make the gun look real tactical, expecially with a Tasco Pro Point red dot sight on it. It's a real turkey killer.

I agree with them and another thing I really like, the one I have is adjustable so me and my step son can use the same gun and it fits both of us.

Yes it makes a difference. Maybe they aren't for everyone but I will never turkey hunt without one again.

Trippe

I don't see them helping reduce recoil. 3 1/2s are still gonna rock you.
