I had used a Godagrip shotgun wedge pad on gun and it worked pretty good, but it wasn't quite tall enough for my setup. You might want to check out Accu-Riser also, they make a monte carlo cheek piece that mounts on the comb with screws like a recoil pad. It looks just like the one Mossberg uses on their m500 combo slug/field guns. That is what I'm going to use next time set up with inserts in stock and machine screws so I can easily remove and install as needed like the Mossberg setup. For a quick temporary fix use a piece of small diameter pipe insulation cut in half and placed over comb and tape in place, couple wraps of electrical tape then cover with some camo tape. I used to do that on shotguns with scopes for deer hunting all the time.
