835 price?

Guy I know has a like new(15 rounds)835 that he wants to sell whats a good price to offer him I dont know what choke he has in it? He bought it new and only hunted a couple days.

They be 250 - 275 in pawn shops around here. they not that new

ask your buddy what he gave for it. offer him 50.00 or 75.00 less. i'm sure you do nor want him to take to much of a beating on it.
i pd. almost 400.00 for my 835 10years ago. but it came setup with a turkey choke and turkey scope

The new ones sell for $460.00.  I almost bought an new "used" one for $350.

Saw an 835 Turkey gun 24"bbl in MO Breakup w/ Accu Mag turkey choke and fiber optic sights @ Wal Mart yesterday afternoon for $327.00.  Good deal on a gun IMO, wish I had some extra cash to get it.  I paid right at $300 for my 835 at Dicks 5 years ago, I got a deal because it was the display and the only one they had.  Mine is the old woodland camo, but is a turkey killer.

is it camo , wood or synthetic stock .. i got mine cheap but 175 was a deal of a lifetime. mine was black synthetic stock.. like new though. only 20 rounds through it.. he just needed money..i would pay 225.00 if its a black one.. just make sure the barrel has no deep rust in it.. open the action and shine a flashlight down barrel.. look to see if its clean and not all rusty. i saw like new guns with horrible horrible pitted rusty barrels.

Ok thanks guys I already have a 835 that I got back in 92' and wouldnt trade it for the world. I have a good friend thats been wanting one and I will let him know the prices you all have given.

RE: 835 Price :  My local dealer has a like new , but used 835...newer style camo but has the 28" barrel ie it's not the 24" turkey model. He has $ 295 on it.   I have a 24" turkey model that came with the Ulti Mag turkey choke and the fiber optic sights, new about one year ago ...it was bought at a gun store and was in the $ 360 range.  I've had much more expensive guns but this 835 patterns extremely well at 40 yds with the supplied Ulti Mag choke.

I paid 200 for mine and it came with a kicks .670 choke talk about a deal 
It didn't come with the scope I put it on
