I have used Krylon. It's not even an option for my Benelli M2.
I don't care for dipping processes.
Alumahyde 2 is impervious to most all cleaning solvents.
I like the Brownell's Alumahyde 2. Used it successfully but now I hear the Duracoat is also very good stuff.
Anyone have experience with Alumahyde and Duracoat?

I have used Krylon Fusion and it is quite durable.

Check out mossy oak graphics .com they have vinyl gun kits in some great patterns for 30$ and have a five year warranty, all my guns have them if you take your time putting them on they look factory, look as good as dipped guns and better than spray paint IMO the vinyl in the kits is very forgiving and when you hit it with a heat gun it will get thin and pliable it will cover stock checkering and look factory I can't post a picture on here for some reason it keeps saying an error has occurred when I try sorry but they are really one of the best product out there and has 5 year warranty and 7 year durability rating

About half the amount of time it will take you to put it on.

:takes about two hours to put a gunskin on right and about thirty minutes to remove with no residue, not trying to sell u anything just letting u know of another option besides spray paint that u will prolly like better

I've used a couple of the mossy oak kits and really like them. One thing I did was trim out the checkering on the stock and for end because the kits tend to be a little slick for my liking. I really prefer to have the added grip of the exposed checkering and it looks cool.

I also say go with the mossy oak graphics gun kit. Just done my 870 & I was very impressed with it.

I dipped my gun myself, however the base coat is the most important part of the process. 

I used SEM Etching primer and Krylon Fusion Tan.  It looked good and smooth even before i dipped the gun.  I finished everything with a matt clear coat. 

I hunted hard with it last year and it didn't even get a scratch, and I mean in the rain and crawling through fields.  I even dropped it in a creek bed of rocks and it never made a mark.  So there you go.
