Had a beautiful day today and got to pattern the new SX3 20 gauge. 26" barrel, Carlson's flush choke, .581 if I remember the constriction correctly. Cost $20 or so off Ebay. 40 yards, 170 in the 10" circle from a measured 40 yards to muzzle, an additional 113 in the 20 inch circle.
I tried to shoot with just the bead and came home and ordered a red dot for it. The gun came drilled and tapped. This was the third shot, barrel not cleaned between shots. (The second shot was lead 6's...it wasn't worth taking a pic of. Maybe 60 pellets in the 10" circle.) It's shooting high so I aimed lower to get this. I got a nice, evenly spread pattern. This is just what I was looking for.
