My son's Nashville box call entry

This past year my 15 year old son finally had an interest in learning how to make box calls. We worked all summer, starting with shop safety and learning how to run power tools on scrap wood. We made some "field grade" boxes together as he learned the ins and outs of call making. He decided to make a call to enter in Nashville and I could not be more proud of how it turned out. He made the entire call from start to finish ( with me lurking over his shoulder on every step). It is made in my hourglass design. The box is eastern red cedar with purpleheart lid, ends and base with yellowheart spacers.

I'm not a Christian because I'm strong and have it all together. I'm a Christian because I'm weak and admit I need a Saviour!

I wish I would have had that skill at the age of 15.
