Finally got the skull back from my Nebraska bird from last spring. I have a friend that started a beetle business, so I gave him the head from my bird (bow kill) to experiment with. Made the plaque out of some old rustic barn wood, and then mounted the head on it to give it a little extra!

Glad you said bow kill. I was going to tell you that you need to work on your pattern.
Very cool mount by the way. I have a frozen head in my freezer right now. Planning to do something with it. Maybe metal dipped.

Very nice!
The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.
