Struttin
« on: March 20, 2011, 12:16:18 PM »
Went out this morning to get set up in a strut zone I found yesterday. I got in and set up about 5 minutes before the birds arrived, just made it! I had 6 toms in all struttin & gobbling all around me. The closest birds were about 30 yards and some were about 60+ yards  beyond them. I sat there & watched them put on a show for well over 2 hours. I was needing to pack up & head home but didn't want to give myself away. Since there were hens off in the woods behind me about 100 yards I figured I would put in my mouth call and give an alarm putt. It worked and they are none the wiser  ;D I waited about 10 minutes then slipped out of the woods.
What a great morning God provided me  RkLu

The background makes the colors stand out.   Great shots.
