Does anyone use a sunshade/kill flash on there scope? I was wondering if this would be a beneficial feature to add, or just a waste of money. Midway sells one you can put in your butler creek scope cover.

The only time I've ever used mine was at the range. I have never hunted with one, it has also seen very limited range use.

I have a sunshade somewhere. There's probably a spider living in it along with a colony of dust mites.

I have a kill flash on both my Nikon turkey scopes. Makes me feel better when sun is in my eyes.
