Tim,  What kind of final coat did you use?

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

I did an A5 awhile back. It's time consuming, but not difficult. I found the prep work to be the key to success.

I got my kit in the mail today. I'm going to play around with it this evening and plan to dip the gun tomorrow.

I'm interested in the outcome of this project. I have a scope I'd like to dip.

I have been playing with it today and almost have it figured out. Timing is everything. I used a different base coat. I was trying to get it as close as I could to MOBU, which is what my gun is. It doesn't match exactly, but it's pretty close. I'll post pics tomorrow when I do the stock.

Excited to see the outcome.
