I'll be interesting to see how well their new turkey loads perform, compared to the old Fed Premium loads? Their new shells have a combo of 3 different BB's in them. 1st is the flightcontrol lead, then their copper coated lead 5's, and finally their heavy metal 7's. Haven't had the chance to shoot them yet, to see how closely they perform to their old Premium loads.

I'm intrigued by these also. I'm sure I'll try a box to see how they do. Should be lots of future posts in the pattern section.

Take away the FCW and I may be intrigued.

I'm certain that they have heard the many complaints about the FCW by now, but they don't seem to care; so I simply don't buy their FCW shells.  I wish that they would offer their premium loads without the FCW.  They should offer them both ways, (with FCW & without FCW) and see which sells better for them.

I had pretty good luck with the FCW but the longbeards got em beat by a long shot. After seeing still shoot records being broken with the Winchesters I don't think I'll be trying anything new this year.

Lots of marketing in those shells. They will not hold a candle to the Longbeards, besides the price is insane for what you get.

I like Federal ammo, but they wasted their time on this stuff
it's not the harvest,it's the chase

From what I'm reading they don't have the flight control wad in them. Could be wrong, but I see no mention of them in the description or on the box. I'm a fan of the LB's and the price is higher, but I'm a patterning fool. I'll probably get one box just to see what they do.

I think that LB's will take a big portion of the market, just because of the price, and performance. not everyone can afford the fancier stuff, and federal just priced a little to high IMHO!  I personally like boxes of 10rds, cause you will enough left after you shoot a few times.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Well the marketing got to me, I had to get a box.  I will give them a try on Wednesday the 11th of Feb and post my results on here for everyone.  If they dont perform I will also be selling a "less than full" box to the highest bidder.
