Chrome lined benelli

I know I can't polish these, but what can I do?

I never polished my others but I alway take hopps and a brass brush, and clean with alcohol afterwards. Is it safe to do on a benelli barrel?

You can use a brass/bronze brush with Hoppe's #9 in your chrome-lined bore but you can also use a good stiff nylon brush like those sold at Brownell's with Hoppe's as well.

I use the "Deep Cleaning" method on my Benelli shotguns to remove the gunk that can build up in them. It's the combination of agitation by the brush and the chemical action of the Hoppe's that does the work I only do this maybe one time per season however and then just use a dry nylon or Kydex brush to remove plastic residue.

Once you deep clean it, it's much slicker and you don't get so much build up in it.

I have used brass brushes on my chrome lined beretta barrels and improved the patterns on all of them quite a bit. Never heard that brass brushes/hoppes #9 would hurt a chrome lined barrel.

I have used brass brushes in my benelli with no problems. Chrome plating is an extremely hard finish and brass will not scratch it. Just be sure to get a high quality brass brush, as some of the el cheapies from china may or may not actually be real brass. Chrome plated  Benelli barrels are very smooth and well finished so  they don't need polishing, but deep cleaning like Clark suggest works great. Congrats on the new gun!
