Most of you know my love for tube calls in particular those made from Doan's pill cans.
A couple years ago I developed an interest in trumpets and just recently I had an idea for a unique trumpet design...a combination of the two!
I got with Austin Bott, known as Austy here on the site, and here's what he came up with. I can't wait to run them as they are currently in the mail but Austy ran one over the phone for me and it has turkey in it.
I'm quite proud of these an hope y'all don't mind me sharing.
Call on left is made from figured Asian Satinwood, call on right is made from Marblewood, both have buffalo horn mouthpieces.
