Have not had a lot of time past few months to make much due to my work schedule, but today I made a wood toneboard crow call using some new techniques. After an enlightening conversation with Daryl Gibson a couple months ago, I gathered some new tools together. Got the itch this afternoon to use em. After working it out in my head, I made these prototype guts. All of my other wood toneboards were made more by hand, these are more machined than hand made. These are much better.
This first pair are a little ugly, got some refineing to do to the shape I guess, but they perform great. Good sound, easy to blow, not to windy, and make a great hawk screech when you blow thru the side : )
Anyhoo, thought I'd share.
Mark
(Just noticed I didnt have em inserted evenly in pic above, oops)
