Had a Jellyhead that shot way better than the .670 accuchoke that came with my 535. Don't remember the exit diameter, maybe .660??

First of all, welcome to OG. This is a great site. I'm sure you'll have lots of answers to your question. I've had 3 of those guns, still have one. Friends talked me out of the other two.

That gun takes chokes with the Win-Choke/Invector/Accu-Choke threads, so you have lots of choices. I've shot mine with a variety of chokes as have my readers. Some chokes that work well with that bore are the Hevi-13 turkey chokes, the JEB's turkey chokes, the Pure Gold turkey chokes and the SSX turkey chokes. I've shot all these and several more over the years.

I recommend 3" shells and the most consistent shells that I've found are the Hevi-13s with 2 oz. of either #6 or #7 shot.

I also recommend that you "deep clean" the bore of your 535. It really helps regardless of choke or shell that you choose. If you're not familiar with that procedure, you can find it in the article "Cleaning a Shotgun Barrel" by clicking on the All About Shooting banner below this post.

Again, welcome and please let us know if we can be of help.

Thanks,
Clark
