Back in 1994 I bought a fair number of calls from Neil Cost, including this Cedar Match call. When Neil inscribed it he intentionally left the name out after the "Made for...". He told me was was doing that because if I sold it in the future the new buyer would probably rather have that space blank. No name has been erased or otherwise removed. There never was one there. The call is mint, as the photos should indicate.
I am starting to reduce my collection. I have a dozen or so of Neil boxes and 5 of his paddle calls. This is the only Cost call I am offering at this time. I'm not sure what the current market is, but I do know these boxes are not selling for the $1,000+ that they brought 8 or 10 years ago. If it is worth $750 to a collector out there, I'd be willing to sell it for that amount. If that is too high in the current market, I sure understand and appreciate your looking at it. I'm fine just keeping it. Of course, a buyer would have a return privilege if not totally satisfied with the call.
