I've gotten up at 4:30am for 28 days in a row.
I can't explain the addiction that makes me do that. :goofball:

OK, some of those were work days. :policeman:
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

I have seen/heard twice (once w/ Old Gobbler) a crow "gobble" at a gobbler

I have seen a hen strutting when she had some poults with her and seen a hen try and gobble

I too wake up at 4:30 or earlier every day for 5+ weeks and that alone can lead to seeing strange stuff! Last week while standing in the rain, in the pre dawn darkness, on a ridgetop in West Virginia , I had a very scary animal sneak up behind me. It was large and dark colored. It could have been a bear or maybe Bigfoot crouching to pounce. I tensed up a little as I turned to face it. We then became buddies.

Saw a hen strut and halfway gobble once. Damnedest thing I've saw while turkey hunting, except rednecks with scoped deer rifle watching fields for late morning feeders.

When I was a kid a friend of my father had a pet crow that would actually say "Hello" plain as day.
