I am almost out of discontinued Winchester Extended Range. I am looking at shooting 3.5inch hevi 13 in no.6 shot but have heard that the new shells may not live up to the numbers the old shells were getting. Is anyone seeing a big difference with the changes that were made to the hevi shells ?

No, I shot 249 average of three shots with my maxus this year.  Not better or worse than in other years

Does it really matter?
You are almost out of extended range, asking about another old shell that was replaced by the new ones so they are obsolete too. Get the new ones and try them.

You can still find the winchesters, I know the bass pro close by has a bunch!  look online, I was looking for waterfowl loads and saw a bunch of turkey loads.  try able ammo and sportsmans.
