Is it necessary to get the steady grip stock if I'm going to get a Benelli Supernova specifically for turkey hunting? New to turkey hunting, thanks.

No.  A lot of people actually prefer to use a traditional stock. I love the steady grip for turkey hunting! JMO

No...not at all....I had a supernova with a 24" barrel and a traditional stock, killed a bunch of birds with it!   It patterned very good too!
