Aimpoint 9000, eotech 512 or trigicon tri power

Which gets the popular vote here? I've been using the aimpoint for years and like it.  I just always tinker and wonder if there is a better choice. I have the ecotech and tri power just sitting on the shelf for years, never been on a gun.

I just don't know if I'd like all the clutter of the eotech reticule. Aimpoint seems simpler and easier to turn on and off. I don't know about a FOV difference.  What I don't like about the aimpoint is the wind age and elevation and power knobs. Seem to obstruct FOV. I have the power knob currently in the 10'oclock position. I think if I move it to 2'oclock I'd be able to see better but it be harder to turn on with my left hand.

So what's best?

I have two Aimpoint 9000SC's and love them. One on my Benelli SBE 2 and one on my Mossberg 835. They withstand the heaviest recoil and get 50,000 hrs battery life.

I really like my Eotech. The circle around the dot helped me properly range a bird this season and they are built like tank.

I've had all three, plus an aimpoint H1.  I now have a burris fastfire 3.   The trijicon is nice, but has tunnelvision issues for me, as well as the aimpoint 9000.  And as you noticed, I felt the controls obstructed both eyes open shooting.  The h1 was real nice, but the lenses are very close to the objective end and get moisture on them and can be easily damaged and scratched.  The eotech sits too high for proper cheek weld.
The burris is LIGHT...Does not obstruct view, no tunnel vision, and is reasonably inexpensive and now has a lifetime warranty.  The lenses are not as good as any of the three you listed, but are still functional.  Now, if I had my pick and no money worries, I would get a trijicon rmr led version.

Hands down the Aimpoint 9000SC (have 4). Not sure what you mean by this:
What I don't like about the aimpoint is the wind age and elevation and power knobs. Seem to obstruct FOV. I have the power knob currently in the 10'oclock position. I think if I move it to 2'oclock I'd be able to see better but it be harder to turn on with my left hand.

The power knob should be at the 2 oclock position, elevation at 12 and windage at 3. Or I'm I missing something here. Help me out here, I don't want to say anything "Smart A$$" without your input.  ??? ???
Battery life is measured in thousands of hours with AimPoint. Although I have spares I have yet to need a swap out after 5 years with my first 9000, I do remove the bats when I store the scopes for the season. Actually I just remove and turn them around, never loose them that way.  :icon_thumright: Turn it on when you start your hunt and turn it off when your done.

You don't "need" to have the power knob at 2oclock. Two reasons that come to mind; 1. The windage and elevation adjustments say U <-> R and D <-> L. Or vise versa. Point being they are labeled to work either way. 2. When mounted on a modern sporting rifle for a right handed shooter having the power in 10oclock makes it easy to to a blind plan roll over the optic to turn it on.

Now for me there have been many times that I had to make a last minute adjustment in brightness while having the gun propped up on my knee. I'm right handed so my left hand is free to slide back and give it a few more clicks and having it in the 10oclock makes it easier for that.  But it also makes it tough to see around.

Devastator

Aimpoint 9000 is the hands down favorite of any reddot i have used!!
