After boo hooing yesterday I can scream and shout today.Yesterday was beautiful.Perfect weather, but I never heard a peep or seen a thing so I almost didn't go out today.Temp. dropped 20 degrees, rain, high winds.Nasty day to hunt.I waited til 7:30 before I even hit the call.I decided on the Lightsout pot call and went to work.Loud and fast and put it away.Nothing happening so I took a
nap.At
8:00 I was rudely awakened by a gobble.I though I was dreaming til I seen him 20 yards away right in front of me.He started to get out of Dodge so I putted to slow him down and the Lil 20 barked. 21 lb, 9 3/4 beard, matching 1 3/8 spurs. I named this one "The Sleeper".First kill for the "Tomahawk' T handloads.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

How rude of him to wake you up in the middle of a good nap!! Glad you showed him who's boss.
Congrats on a stud of a bird!

There's nothing better than a nap in the turkey woods and then waking up and hearing a gobble! Glad it worked out for you! Congrats!
