Got up extra early this morning. I wasn't sure when the daylight or anything was going to come so as I'm waiting by a tree at my farm just at pitch black I hear a gobble. So I move down to the area where he's at and set up a lone hen decoy.
As daylight progresses he's over across the boundary line hammering. Gobbling to geese, roosters, tweety birds, you name it! I glanced out at my decoy and notice it's only about 18-20 yards away, crap! I hate setting up in the dark!
Around 6:30 I see him flydown to the center of the ridge and he was out of sight for a second or two. I let out a very short series of yelps and a couple soft clucks. He's 75 yards away but I'm not sure he heard me because he would not shut up!
Once he locked onto that decoy he was on his way in. He didn't really strut in, kinda just a walking gobble. He came in close enough and at 40 yards and ate a load of Hevi shot for breakfast!
Very exciting. As I was packing up two or so other birds was gobbling pretty good.

Congrats. Sounds like a textbook hunt.
I love golf. It keeps a lot of people out of the turkey woods.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
