Western MD | Day #2

Arrived to a promising spot just before 5am to come up empty handed. Less cars and warmer temps but no gobbling early. May have had a couple birds moving around behind me, most likely Hens.

Moved spots around 10am after I watched a guy call to my decoys for 15 minutes.

Spot two was around the corner on a ridge on the boarder of private land. Had 4 birds all gobbling around me but none of them came into sight. They all stayed about 90 yards away, walking back and forth around me.

Had any luck in Western MD since opening weekend?  Are the birds gobbling?

@eugenegant I personally havent had any luck, but other people are claiming good birds. I hear them on the ridge near where I hunt but cant get them to come in off of the private farms.
